Thank you & Well done!

A massive thank you and well done to Jean, Eevi and Maureen who stepped down from their volunteer roles with 33rd Doncaster Brownies in February. Between them Jean, Eevi and Maureen have clocked up 103 years of service with the unit!

The ladies were presented with Girlguiding Thanks Awards and celebrated at the unit with an evening focussing on Thinking Day for the Brownies and a buffet and cake! Volunteers from across Doncaster North Division were also invited to share in the celebration.

Congratulations to Tracy and Glenis both from Doncaster North Division who were presented with 40 year service awards by Division Commissioner Sara.

Volunteers in Rother Valley Division were presented with long Service Awards at a local Thinking Day event by new Division Commissioner Kay.

5 year Service Awards were presented to Emma from 68th Rotherham Rotherham Brownies, Karen from 56th Rotherham Brownies and Nicola from 68th Rotherham Rainbows.

Laura from 57th Rotherham Brownies was nominated for a Thanks Award by her Unit Leader, Jean. Despite suffering from poor health, Laura raised £280 for the unit by making and selling cards. She also put together card making kits for the Brownies. Well done Laura!

In Bramley, Lindsay from 39th Rotherham Brownies was presented with her 5 year service award and Jess from 9th Rotherham Guides with her 10 year service award.

Volunteers from Barnsley West Division came together on Thinking Day. After a creative session with Jumping Clay there was some formal business and presentation of awards. Becky from 53rd Barnsley Rainbows received her 5 year service award and Leadership Qualifications were presented to Noelle from Barnsley West Rangers and Megan from 21st Barnsley Rainbows by outgoing Division Commissioner Zoe.

Thank you to Zoe who completed her role as Division Commissioner for Barnsley West and was presented with a South Yorkshire Award for her time in a County role. Welcome to Alice who was presented with her Commissioner badge as she takes on the Division Commissioner role.
