The Rotherham Division team are so proud of all our 32 units and unit team members who run the units. Our active units cover areas including Wath-upon-Dearne, Swinton, Thorpe Hesley, Herringthorpe, Broom Whiston, Brinsworth. We do have other areas in Rotherham yet to have units. Our active units to date are: 7 Rainbow units, 12 Brownie units, 10 Guide units and 3 Ranger units. With many areas having long waiting lists (especially Rainbows) we are always looking for new volunteers to join our division and help in our units and eventually maybe help to expand the number of units in all areas.

The division participate in many events created for the whole division including activity days and weekend adventures available for everyone to join in. Individual and groups of units also organise fantastic adventures for their girls on a smaller scale with a range of themes and destinations. Doncaster North thrives due to the wealth of experience within it, many units having the opportunity to explore guiding traditions as well as modern guiding with expertise being shared so that guiding legacies can remain whilst exploring the fantastic new opportunities that modern guiding offers. Our Division would love to welcome more people to share in our wealth of knowledge and expertise and hopefully teach us something new so we can continue to thrive.

Doncaster West is a small division. It used to be made up of two Districts, Castlehills which covered Denaby, Conisbrough and Mexborough and Springwell which had, Balby, Wadworth, Warmsworth, Edlington and Braithwell. A few years ago a decision was made to merge the Districts and have a division commissioner and an assistant rather than a division commissioner and two District commissioners. We currently have 4 rainbow units, 5 brownie units, 4 guide units, 1 ranger unit and an additional divisional ranger unit.
